Our scope at the Taj Hotel consisted of demolition and subcontracted abatement services by Unified Abatement Services. This multi-floor complete demolition of the guestroom floors and common areas included the removal of hard finishes, from plaster ceilings, Gypcrete walls, bathroom finishes and tile floors. In addition to the guest rooms, Unified performed demo on the rooftop which included removal of MEPs and the exterior parapet wall. The work was executed under very tight sight logistics while supervising debris removal on busy Newbury Street.
